TEAM PERFORMANCE

In the end, all business operations can be reduced to three words: people, product and profits. Unless you've got a good team, you can't do much with the other two.
Lee Iacocca

An important starting point for excellence in organizations is the people. The most important starting point for the people is the quality and skills of the management team.

Many organizations have varying degrees of excellence in strategic and business planning, ERP systems, software platforms, technology, processes, marketing programs, distribution systems, financial and management reporting, governance, reserves, investment plans and morale. Good, effective people in the management team ensure all these elements of the business are right and working well and if they aren’t, they follow-through and get them right. Inadequate people in the management team struggle; they have difficulty identifying shortcomings and problems.

Ian has successfully led team development programs for a range of private sector, government-owned and public sector organizations. Performance of organizations is enhanced through clarifying the team’s understanding of its own internal dynamics and its external interactive dynamics, then setting goals for improvement backed by a skills gap analysis and skills development program.

Each management team development program must be fine-tuned to the individual organization and Ian researches the organization to support development of an optimal program.

Improvement in the performance of the management team significantly enhances the bottom line or deliverables of the organization.
